About Future Fabricators Network
Inspiring the Next Generation of Makers
Future Fabricators Network inspires the next generation of makers through hands-on projects that spark creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. By engaging students in building cross carts and exploring trades like welding, fabrication, plumbing, electrical, and automotive repair, we open doors to scholarships, career pathways, and lifelong learning opportunities. Founded by Ben Brown, a seasoned trades professional and community leader, our organization partners with local educators and businesses to provide the tools, resources, and mentorship students need to succeed. Unlike other programs, we focus on empowering young minds to design, build, and bring their ideas to life, fostering imagination and practical skills in a supportive, real-world environment. Through community sponsorships, events, and innovative fundraising strategies, we aim to create a sustainable platform that not only teaches trades but also builds leaders, innovators, and the skilled workforce of tomorrow.

Fundraising and Sustainability Plan
To launch Future Fabricators Network, we will raise an initial budget of $100,000 through corporate sponsorships, donations, and community events. Sponsorships from companies that manufacture tools and machinery will help provide resources, while events like partnerships with local Businesses, sports teams, bingo nights, and Rotary clubs will foster community engagement. In the future, raffles of cross
carts and ticketed racing events will provide sustainable funding for materials and program expansion. The goal is to evolve into a self-funding model, where events help offset operational costs.
Marketing and Outreach Strategy
Our marketing strategy will emphasize family involvement, encouraging parents and students to work together on hands-on projects. A dedicated website will showcase family projects, testimonials, and program updates. Social media will engage families by sharing their projects and promoting upcoming events. Local parades will feature student-made cross carts, and workshops will allow families to participate together. These efforts will strengthen community ties and raise awareness of the importance of trades education.
Impact Measurement
We will measure success through student and family participation, tracking applications for scholarships and the stories behind them. Long-term success will be assessed by following students after they complete the program, documenting their continued education and career paths. A program completion questionnaire will collect feedback from students, helping us refine the experience. Ultimately, our impact will be reflected in the growth of trade-skilled students and the lasting relationships formed within families and the community.
